Dovima is a show prospect at Couture Border Collies. She has a sweet and loving temperament, eagerness to please, and has medium food/toy drive.

 Dovi has always been quite competitive in the show ring, starting off her AKC showing career snagging a Puppy Group 3 under a large competitive lineup and her first points going Winners at only 6 months of age. Under 1 year of age she had successfully earned multiple group placements under AKC, UKC, IABCA venues for conformation being solely owner-handled.  

She went on to win her class at the BCCNC Specialty in Lodi, went RWB at the BCCGLA Specialty under breeder-judge Mrs. Suzanne LeRoy, and won Best Expression under breeder-judge Mrs. Donna Lawson. Dovi earned her first 4 point major against a competitive lineup in Bakersfield, CA at 11 months of age. At one year of age she was over halfway finished with her AKC Champion title, had all 3 UKC Comp. Wins, and had snagged her IABCA Jr. Champion titles.

Dovima has good handler focus and does well in loud, busy, and crowded environments. She loves everyone she meets, and does well at home with our two cats. She used to accompany me to work and spent her time snuggling children in my classroom.

Dovima is an absolutely gorgeous representation of the breed. She has stunning, fluid movement with lovely reach and drive which translates well on the herding field. A typey head piece and correct ear set and classic black and white markings. Good spring of rib, long flowy tail with a nice low croup and easily felt prosternum with balanced rear and front angles.
